What We do

We make small-batch hard cider in Pittsboro from North Carolina apples. We work with local growers to source the apples that give us the complex, satisfying flavor of a traditional hard cider. Southern ciders are growing in popularity as the local cider industry grows, and the flavors of Arkansas Black and other successful Southern apples have earned their place among favorite American ciders. In keeping with the old tradition of making cider with the fruit at hand, we also forage fruit for our yearly Backyard Blend using field apples and ‘ugly’ apples from nearby orchards.

Our cider is available in keg and in bottles. We sell direct to the public at various local events and markets, online, and on shelves and taps around the Triangle.

The cidery is located in the Chatham Beverage District in Pittsboro. The district is also home to a distillery and mead company and other small businesses, including a farm-to-fork restaurant that grows much of its food on-site. There’s also axe-throwing, bike rentals, playground equipment and picnic tables. The tasting room at the district serves our ciders in flights and by the glass and bottle. They also offer a menu of other locally made beverages.

We’re a woman-owned and family-run business, and we welcome you to get to know us.
